Security & Compliance

Does MiOpsAI comply with CCPA for California residents?

Yes — MiOpsAI is CCPA-compliant (and CPRA-compliant for the 2023 amendments) for California residents and businesses serving them. This includes the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, the right to opt-out of sale, the right to correct, and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information.

As a US-based company headquartered in Nebraska, MiOpsAI falls under CCPA jurisdiction whenever we process the personal information of California consumers. We treat CCPA as a baseline that applies to all US customers, not just California, because the operational complexity of region-specific data handling outweighs the marginal benefit.

What our CCPA compliance covers

  • Right to know: Customers and end users can request a full disclosure of what personal information MiOpsAI has collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the third parties it has been disclosed to
  • Right to delete: Hard-delete requests honored within 30 days (see our delete-data answer for full detail)
  • Right to opt-out of sale: MiOpsAI does not sell personal information to third parties, so this right is satisfied by default. There is no "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link required because we do not sell data, period.
  • Right to correct: Inline editing of any record, with version history preserved
  • Right to limit: Sensitive personal information (precise geolocation, biometric data, etc.) is not collected by MiOpsAI by default
  • Non-discrimination: Exercising CCPA rights does not affect service quality, pricing, or feature access

Privacy notice and disclosures

Our privacy notice is published at /privacy and updated whenever data practices change. It includes the categories of personal information collected, sources, business purposes, retention periods, and third-party disclosures — all per CCPA Section 1798.100(b) requirements.

Service Provider Agreement

For California businesses subject to CCPA as data controllers, MiOpsAI signs a Service Provider Agreement that satisfies CCPA Section 1798.140(ag) requirements, restricting our use of your customers' personal information to the business purpose specified in our service contract.
