How does MiOpsAI protect shipper and carrier data at a logistics brokerage?

Shipper contract terms, carrier rate history, load-level margin data, and customer contact lists are competitively sensitive, and MiOpsAI treats them with the discipline that sensitivity requires. Every tenant is isolated with per-tenant AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Your data never crosses into another brokerage's tenant, and we do not train shared AI models on your data.

Access controls are role-based: dispatchers see the load queues assigned to them, pricing analysts see the margin data, the operations manager sees everything, and outside vendors or contract dispatchers see only what you explicitly scope them into. Every read and write is logged with user, timestamp, and action, which matters when a former dispatcher moves to a competitor and you need a clean record of what they touched.

Carrier data lives on your side of the tenant boundary. When you invite a carrier partner into a shared thread, they see only the specific loads and messages you scope them into. They do not see your other carrier relationships, your shipper list, or your rate structure. Same discipline for shipper access.

On the certification side, MiOpsAI is working toward SOC 2 Type II on the 2026 roadmap. Our underlying AWS infrastructure is already SOC 2 Type II certified. If your shipper contracts require a specific security attestation, we can talk about what documentation we can provide today and what is coming in the next twelve months.

Two-factor authentication is available for every user and required for admin roles. Session-level controls (IP allowlists, single sign-on via SAML) are available for larger brokerages that need them. See the security and compliance FAQ set for the full control list.
